Job summary
Brightwater Recruitment is recruiting a Finance & Investments Accountant for a leading Financial Services organisation in Dublin. The role spans investment accounting, portfolio performance monitoring, financial reporting and regulatory compliance within a specialist financial services environment.

Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) or equivalent.
- Experience in financial services, ideally reinsurance/insurance or investment management.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Proficiency in IFRS and regulatory reporting.
- Advanced Excel and familiarity with reporting systems.
Responsibilities
- Produce monthly management information on investment portfolio performance.
- Oversee investment accounting results across IFRS and regulatory reporting.
- Lead the preparation and QA of investment asset data for regulatory reporting.
- Review monthly valuations of Section 110 investment structures.
- Coordinate information for external financial reporting and disclosures.
- Prepare and review monthly collateral reconciliations.
- Support strategic initiatives and ad hoc analyses.
