Minimum qualifications:

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working in a Technical Accounting role, or similar industry or practice.
• Experience researching and applying International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to complex transactions, with good knowledge of IFRS 15 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers) or IFRS 16 (Leases).
• Ability to have strong attention to detail, organizational skills and focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to have a collaborative style and work with cross-functional and international teams.
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with executive management.

As a Technical Accounting Senior Analyst, you will serve as a central technical expert advising international controllership and global cross-functional partners on complex, first-of-a-kind accounting transactions across IFRS. You will research and determine the appropriate accounting treatment for non-standard transactions and manage engagements with external audit partners. Additionally, you will drive governance by maintaining core accounting policies and designing and delivering technical accounting training across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical research on complex accounting issues and provide accounting consultation advice to business partners under IFRS, assisting with challenging, unique and first-of-a-kind IFRS queries.
• Develop, draft, and maintain global technical accounting policies, technical memos, and position papers.
• Keep business partners and entity accountants abreast of developments in accounting and financial reporting, including the preparation and delivery of specialized training sessions and ongoing technical guidance.
