Mercer is seeking a talented individual to join our Fixed Income Portfolio Management Team. The role will be based in London or Cork and is a hybrid position requiring office presence at least three days per week.

You will support discretionary fixed income portfolios for International Region clients, contribute to manager selection, portfolio construction, performance analysis, and ongoing portfolio oversight, working with Mercer's Manager Research team to deliver strong client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within investment management, investment consulting, asset management, or a related financial services environment.

Responsabilités

• Support Portfolio Managers in the management of discretionary fixed income portfolios for International Region clients.
• Contribute to investment and portfolio construction decisions across fixed income asset classes.
• Assist with investment manager research, selection, and oversight activities.
• Help design, develop, and implement new investment strategies and portfolio solutions.
• Develop understanding of fixed income markets, manager universes, and portfolio positioning.
• Analyze portfolio performance, risk metrics, and underlying manager results.
• Maintain and document portfolio management and risk management processes.
• Support integration of technology and AI-enabled tools to improve analytics and efficiency.
• Assist with portfolio performance reporting and investment materials for stakeholders.
• Build relationships across teams and with external managers.
• Support client management and business development initiatives.
