Job summary

Mercer Global Investment Europe in Dublin is seeking a Product Control Senior Specialist to oversee operations and valuation of the Mercer portfolio range, and to manage key service providers. This senior role requires collaboration with investment, commercial teams, Legal, Compliance, Portfolio Managers and operations to ensure strict risk controls and high‑quality client service.

You will support fund launches, restructures, transitions and closures, review documentation, and drive process

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of fund operations, including fund accounting, middle office and transfer agency.
• Understanding of European fund structures including UCITS and AIFs.
• Experience with several asset classes (securities, loans, derivatives).
• Proven ability to manage institutional client relationships and deliver high service.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership or supervisory experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes across Mercer-managed portfolios.
• Manage relationships with key service providers, including fund administrators, custodians and investment managers.
• Monitor service levels, KPIs and operational performance to maintain high standards.
• Oversee NAV and valuation processes, including review of exceptions and investigation of issues.
• Support fund audits and act as a main contact for external auditors.
• Prepare papers and updates for internal governance committees and Boards.
• Support fund launches, restructures, transitions and closures while ensuring strong client service.
• Review fund and client documentation, including legal and operational agreements.
• Identify operational risks and inefficiencies and help implement process improvements.
