Job summary

Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. in Ireland (Killarney) is seeking a Team Lead – Internal Quality to manage the internal quality team within the Quality Department.

You will oversee monitoring and auditing of manufacturing quality at the factory and on site, and drive continuous improvement to meet Liebherr standards. The role requires a third level qualification in quality management or engineering, plus experience in office/steel fabrication environments and 2+ years in a similar role.

Qualifications

• A third level qualification in quality management, engineering or proven work experience in a similar role.
• Experience working in an office and steel fabrication / electromechanical assembly environment.
• More than 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Process improvement experience.
• Experience of team management and dynamics.
• Effective communicator.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Careful, conscientious, methodical solution based approach.
• Willingness to self-learn and improve.
• Excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the internal quality team and coordinate tasks with the Quality Department.
• Monitor, audit and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing quality on site and in the factory.
• Develop team knowledge, training and capability to meet standards.
• Support other leads and drive issue resolution and corrective action.
• Prepare reports and KPIs from available data.
