Job summary

Augusta University seeks a residency program coordinator for Internal Medicine. You will support educational integrity, clinical relevance, and ACGME compliance, reporting to the program director and assisting residents and core faculty.

Key duties include daily operations, meeting logistics, resident recruitment, and documentation for accreditation. You will also handle remittance authorizations, travel statements, packets and general administrative tasks, using MS Office and learning Axium,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and one year educational program or similar experience.
• Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and 4 years professional or administrative experience to include minimum of 2 years of educational program experience or similar experience.
• High school diploma, GED from a recognized state or federal accredited organization and 7 years professional or administrative experience to include minimum of 4 years of educational program experience or similar experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the residency training program and manage meeting logistics.
• Assist the residency program director with recruitment and interview process; ensure residents meet AU GME policies and requirements.
• Prepare remittance authorizations for meals, travel expense statements, packets, and provide general office support for residents and staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
