Job summary

Global Professional Consultants in Cork are seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their building services team on a range of projects across Ireland, including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and pharma sectors.

You will contribute to mechanical building services design, with a strong emphasis on HVAC, plumbing and regulations, using AutoCAD and BIM tools such as Revit MEP. Hybrid working options are available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within a consultancy.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Experience with Revit MEP and BIM is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services design, including HVAC, heating, ventilation and plumbing systems.

Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer
Cork

Excellent opportunity for an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Cork. The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will join an established building services team working on a diverse range of projects across Ireland, including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial, pharmaceutical projects across the public and private sectors.

Projects Include:

• Large-scale Educational development – €40m+
• Major Commercial development – €30m+
• Large Healthcare facility – €20m+
• Major Pharmaceutical development – €15m+

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within a consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of Irish building services standards, regulations and industry practices.
• Experience working on commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial or refurbishmentprojects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Experience with Revit MEP and BIM is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services design, including HVAC, heating, ventilation and plumbing systems.
