Job summary

Global Professional Consultants in Galway are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team. You will lead mechanical building services design for HVAC, heating, cooling and ventilation on a diverse range of projects across commercial, residential, healthcare and data centre sectors.

You will produce calculations, specifications and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, and coordinate with architectural, structural and electrical teams while attending meetings with clients,

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical building services design.
• Experience within an Irish engineering consultancy is highly desirable.
• Strong HVAC and mechanical services knowledge.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of Irish standards and building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical building services across HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation and public health systems.

Mechanical Design Engineer
Galway

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing Galway team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with experience in building services design to work on a diverse range of projects across commercial, residential, healthcare and data centre sectors.

The Role:

The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for mechanical building services design across HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation and public health systems. The role will involve producing technical calculations, specifications and design documentation, as well as preparing and reviewing drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.

The Mechanical Design Engineer will coordinate with architectural, structural and electrical teams and attend meetings with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.

Requirements:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• 3+ years’ experience in mechanical building services design.
