Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking an Intermediate Estimator for a Tier 1 main contractor in the North Dublin office. The role centers on preparing accurate cost estimates to support tender submissions across a range of construction projects.

The successful candidate will analyse drawings and tender documents, source and evaluate subcontractor quotations, and liaise with the design team and subcontractors to ensure precise tender returns and a smooth handover to commercial and site teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Experience working as an Estimator, ideally with a main contractor.
• Strong numerical, analytical and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and pricing for tender submissions across a range of construction projects.
• Analyse tender documentation, drawings and specifications to identify scope and cost drivers.

Intermediate Estimator

Intermediate Estimator required for a Tier 1 Main Contractor to join their estimating team, based out of their North Dublin office. Our client is specifically looking for an Intermediate Estimator with a strong grasp of construction cost estimating to support tender submissions across a range of projects. Our client has a strong pipeline of upcoming projects and continues to grow its estimating function. The successful Intermediate Estimator will report to the Estimating Manager.

Role:
