Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is working with an established Irish construction contractor to appoint a Construction Estimator in Dublin. The role focuses on preparing competitive tenders, reviewing drawings and specifications, and supporting pre-construction activities.

You will manage multiple tenders, liaise with subcontractors and suppliers, and help drive successful tender handovers. A qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline with at least 3 years' estimating experience is required.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in construction estimating.
• Main contractor experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and pricing.
• Excellent ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Experience with quantity take-offs and subcontractor procurement.
• Strong commercial, numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with relevant estimating and construction software.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join their Dublin-based team.

About Your New Role
