Job summary

Le Meas Executive Search are delighted to exclusively partner with a leading aircraft leasing firm to hire a recently qualified accountant for their expanding team in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high performing finance team and get broad experience of accounting in aircraft leasing. The role is based in Dublin and offers exposure to IFRS reporting, audits, and tax compliance.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year PQE with a top 4 Audit firm or Lessor.
• US GAAP exposure is a positive.
• Experience in aircraft leasing is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of the group monthly management accounts, financial statements and quarterly reporting under IFRS.
• Prepare account reconciliations for pre-determined financial accounts on a monthly basis including aircraft assets, debt, maintenance reserves, security deposits
• Record monthly closing journal entries in line with Company-wide close calendar
• Preparing the statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS for group and individual SPVs
• Coordinate with the external auditors on year-end group and statutory audits
• Assist with the tax compliance reporting, compliance and provision processes for the group
• Assist projects which drive efficiencies in the Finance team
• Works on financial projects as necessary and required
