Job description

Location: Techrete, Stephenstown Industrial Park, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin

About Us

Founded in Dublin in 1985, Techrete is a leading designer, manufacturer and installer of architectural precast concrete cladding for the UK and Irish construction markets. We deliver a complete facade solution under one roof: in-house design engineering, offsite manufacturing in our factories in Balbriggan and North Lincolnshire, and our own site teams for installation. Our facades, from reconstituted stone and brick‑faced panels to terracotta and natural stone, feature on award‑winning buildings across Ireland and the UK.

About The Role

Because we offer full and inclusive design, production and installation to our valued clients, how we plan across our departments directly shapes how efficiently we deliver. As Integrated Planning Specialist, you will lead the development and rollout of a standard planning framework for the business: setting up the templates and data standards every project is planned against, training our site, production and design teams to manage their own schedules, and giving dedicated support where it is needed.

This is a strong intermediate role with a clear path to a senior planning position. You will set the standard for planning throughout the business, build capability within the existing teams, and ensure the flow of information to feed production facilities in a timely manner to allow for efficiencies across the business.

Benefits
  • Subsidised onsite canteen
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Enhanced maternity leave
  • Enhanced paternity leave
  • Onsite parking
  • Early leave on Friday
  • Company Pension
Key Responsibilities
Planning standards and templates
  • Develop and own standard programme templates, work breakdown structures, activity coding and pulling through logic built naming conventions.
  • Develop clear procedures and guidance docs to allow teams apply the standard consistently.
  • Review new baseline programmes for logic and in line with agreed capacity, allowing streamlined implementation.
  • Ensure the panel list and phasing agreed at pricing stage is handed over intact when a job is won.
Training and team support
  • Design and deliver training for site, production and design teams on the planning standard, templates and reporting.
  • Support teams in moving from local trackers and legacy workflows to standardised methods.
  • Provide hands‑on support to projects that need it, handing over ownership as each team's capability grows.
  • Carry out periodic health checks on live programmes and coach teams when required.
Coordination and reporting
  • Connect site, design and production planning, ensuring each team has timely, usable information to sequence work efficiently and optimise mould order and utilisation.
  • Capture production and design constraints and feed them back upstream so programmes can be effectively resourced or where required, adjusted early.
  • Maintain the company‑wide programme view and dashboards.
  • Lead regular cross‑functional planning reviews, and report capacity challenges to the Operations & Projects Director with recommended actions.

  • Advanced Excel and confidence working with structured data and reporting.
  • A strong communicator who can influence design, production and site teams and provide leadership through change.
  • Willingness, if required, to travel between Techrete facilities and project locations in Ireland and the UK.
Desirable
  • Background in construction, precast manufacturing or a comparable production environment.
  • Experience with SQL or Power BI.
