Techrete is recruiting a BIM/3D Modeler for Balbriggan, Ireland. You will join the engineering team to develop 3D models of precast concrete elements and coordinate with external design collaborators.

The role requires 5+ years in construction with BIM workflow experience and a strong grasp of building regulations. Proficiency in Revit/Tekla and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, precast experience preferred.
• Experience using 3D BIM Environment via workflow.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations and construction details.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Produce 3D BIM models for precast concrete elements.
• Liaise with external design team members regularly.
• Produce 2D coordination and installation drawings.
• Attend site to verify drawings and model accuracy.
• Ensure model files are coordinated and up to date.
• Prioritise workload to meet project deadlines.
• Support external facade works aligned with the program.
• Maintain high quality and safety standards.
• Manage buildability issues related to external envelope.

About the Role

This new role is for an BIM / 3D modeler with 5+ years’ experience in the construction industry combined with a good working knowledge of the building regulations and construction details.

Responsibilities:

• Partnering with Engineers and modellers you will produce, within a 3D model environment precast concrete elements and associated items.
• Liaise with external design team members on a regular basis
• Production of 3D model files through Revit/Tekla
• Production of 2D co-ordination and installation drawings
• Attend the site as required to confirm drawings / model accuracy.
• Ensuring that detailed model files are co-ordinated
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Carry out other duties as directed by your manager
• Produce accurate, consistent, and professional records, reports, and General information.
• Support the completion of the associated external facade works in accordance with the Program.
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest of quality and safety Standards.
• Manage buildability issues related to the external envelope.

About You

• Relevant Architectural, Engineering or Construction Qualification.
• Minimum 5 Years' Experience (Precast Experience preferred)
• Experience using 3D BIM Environment via workflow
• Technical and Practical Knowledge of The Building Industry
• Advance Knowledge of Ms Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Industry Specific Software
• Excellent Written and Oral Presentation Skill
• Ability to Work on Own Initiative
• Self-starter capable of delivering targets and deadlines

Qualifications / Expertise

• Education: Relevant Qualification in Engineering / Architecture / Construction.
