Job summary

Northern Trust in Ireland is seeking a Consultant Insurance Services to support its Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis function. You will manage insurance data, renewals, and governance, acting as the local insurance contact for NT partners and regulators.

The role requires strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills, plus familiarity with MS Office; Power BI and Python are a plus. Travel up to 10% may be required, and work permits for Ireland are needed.

Qualifications

• General understanding of the insurance industry.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prepare clear, comprehensive, written and verbal reports for senior management.
• Ability to appropriately prioritize and execute projects in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the insurance renewal activities with insurance broker.
• Maintain insurance schedule and updates underwriting data for changes.
• Collaborate with internal (Northern Trust Finance) and external parties to ensure insurance coverages are invoiced timely and policies updated in the document repository.
• Advise insurers of incidents and potential claims pursuant to policy provisions.
• Review property reports, verify insurance coverage for accuracy, and confirm inclusion on Master Global insurance programs as needed.
• Maintain insurance dashboard
• Submit funding requests, assist with premium allocations and process policy endorsements in software applications (Yardi).
