Flexistaff Recruitment is seeking an Installation Technician to join a dynamic team responsible for installing automated warehousing systems, robotics, and advanced automation equipment across Ireland. You will work with 3-4 engineers, handling mechanical and electrical installations to high standards on major projects.

The role is based in Tullamore with nationwide projects. Regular travel and occasional overnight stays are required; hotel accommodation is provided when away.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electrical installation roles.
• Strong practical engineering and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, automation, or construction environments.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willing to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required.
• Full clean driving licence and safety-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Install automated warehousing equipment and robotic systems at customer sites across Ireland.
• Carry out mechanical assembly, installation, and electrical works.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and installation plans.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting equipment.
• Maintain high levels of precision and workmanship on all installations.
• Adhere to strict health and safety procedures on customer sites.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site personnel to ensure projects are completed successfully.

Location: Tullamore, Co. Offaly (Nationwide Travel Required)
Salary: €50,000 Basic Salary + Up to €35,000 Annual Bonus
Vehicle: Company Hyundai Tucson Commercial Vehicle Provided
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
No Weekend Work

Flexistaff is currently recruiting an Installation Technician to join a dynamic engineering team specialising in the installation of automated warehousing systems, robotics, and advanced automation equipment throughout Ireland.

This Installation Technician role offers the opportunity to work on major projects for leading multinational companies in high-demand manufacturing and logistics environments. The successful Installation Technician will work as part of a team of 3-4 engineers, carrying out mechanical and electrical installations to the highest standards of quality and safety.

While the position is based in Tullamore, projects are located nationwide. Regular travel is required, and overnight stays may be necessary. Hotel accommodation will be fully provided when projects are located a significant distance from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Install automated warehousing equipment and robotic systems at customer sites across Ireland.

• Full clean driving licence.
