Job summary

Interactive Displays, based in Oldcastle, Co Meath, is looking for an Installation and Service Engineer to install digital signage screens, interactive panels and roll out new projects nationwide. You will work with a team of engineers and assist in installations and troubleshooting.

You will need to be able to travel to the office for equipment most days and be within commutable distance. The role involves early mornings/late evenings depending on project and a full clean driving licence is

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in installation environment.
• Must be able to use a drill and related tools.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills to translate technical terms.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to think outside the box.
• Experience dealing with schools, retail, commercial, and corporate clients.

Responsibilities

Job description

This role is based in Oldcastle Co Meath. You will need to be able to travel to the office for equipment most days. So ideally you will be in commutable distance.The role of the Installation and Service Engineer will be to install digital signage screens, interactive screens and roll out of new projects/troubleshoot existing. To work with a team of engineer and assist in the installation of screens.This role will require nationwide travel.

Your Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in installation environment.
• Installation/fitter experience if possible.You must be able to use a drill and related tools for the job.
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills – ability to translate complicated technological terminology into language easily understood by others.
• A self-starter with proven experience in dealing directly with users on a wide variety of technical issues with ability to be a self-motivator and work on their own or in team environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skillsTHINK OUT SIDE THE BOX
• Dealing with Schools, Retail, Commercial and Corporate an advantage.

Other Benefits

Training will be provided, but this role is a hit-the-ground-running role. Knowledge of installations/drilling/fitting etc is essential.

You must be over 21 with a clean driving license for insurance. We are based in Oldcastle Co Meath and you will be required to work from this office as a base. This role will involve working nationwide and some early mornings/late evenings (bonus related pay) depending on the project being rolled out. No weekends
