Job summary

LotusWorks is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support and optimise injection moulding processes in a manufacturing environment. The role is part of the Core Team on the night shift, addressing equipment yields and process issues.

You will work with Manufacturing Engineers to develop, troubleshoot, implement improvements, and perform preventative maintenance. Strong problem solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• HETAC Level 6 (120 credits) or higher in a STEM field; polymer-related is highly desirable.
• Experience with injection moulding and manufacturing environments.
• Proven problem solving, analytical and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with Manufacturing Engineers to develop, troubleshoot, standardise and improve production methods.
• Design, specify, manufacture, test, and document production equipment changes.
• Interface with personnel and vendors during maintenance and improvements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance for assigned processes or areas.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and yield management.
• Analyze trends to identify opportunities for yield improvement.
• Investigate and resolve recurring equipment problems.
• Assist in design methods, part sourcing and documentation.
