GxP Recruitment seeks a Process Technician to join the core team in Galway to address equipment, yield and process issues and implement corrective actions. You’ll work with Manufacturing Engineers on improving production methods, handle PLC and electronic interfacing, and manage critical spares to minimise downtime.

Role requires a HETAC Level 6 qualification with at least two years’ experience; medical device manufacturing experience is highly desirable. Evening and night shifts are included.

• Medical Device Manufacturing experience is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Manufacturing Engineers in developing, trouble shooting, standardising and improving existing production methods and procedures.
• Work on Electronic troubleshooting, PLC, programming, electronic hardware interfacing.
• Maintain a critical spares inventory for key maintenance items to minimize downtime.
• Assist ME’s in investigating and implementing new production methods.
• Assist ME’s in design methods, part sourcing and documentation.
• Perform equipment qualifications and validations, including report writing etc.
• Design, specify, manufacture, test and production equipment, changes and improvements.
• Interface with a variety of BSIL personnel with outside vendors when necessary while performing the above.
• Take responsibility for preventative maintenance procedures with an assigned process or area.
• Communicate any concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, health or safety issues to their Manager.

Shifts:

Evenings: 14:30 – 22:30 - Mon-Fri

Nights: 22:30 – 06:30 - Sat - Tues

• Proven ability to work well both as part of a team but also able to work on own with minimum supervision.
