Job summary

LotusWorks is seeking an Engineering Technician (Shift) to join our Dunboyne, Meath site on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on cleanroom equipment, ensuring safety and reliability of operations.

The role requires a solid technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering, strong attention to detail, and ability to read schematics. You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams to maintain high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cleanroom environment preferred.
• A mindset focused on Safety and Quality standards, regulations and practices.
• Strong attention to detail and following procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills with vendors, engineers and management.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on cleanroom equipment, including tanks, wastewater, bio-waste and steam systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure proper operation and longevity.
• Coordinate with vendors and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure all documentation is completed correctly and asset data is captured accurately.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

As an Engineering Technician (Shift) working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the Biologics sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Dunboyne, Meath.

You will be responsible for performing preventative and reactive maintenance on cleanroom equipment, activities to ensure the site operations are safe and reliable.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on cleanroom equipment, including but not limited to tanks, wastewater, bio-waste, and steam systems etc.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues, ensuring minimum downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical systems, ensuring proper operation and longevity of equipment.
• Support and coordinate vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Skills Required:

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a cleanroom environment.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with vendors, engineers, and management.

Education / Licenses / Certifications:

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a Level 6 Mechanical / Electrical Trade Qualification.
• Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable
