Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Dublin is launching a new Technology Line of Business and seeks a Software Engineer III to design, build, and operate enterprise-scale infrastructure platforms.

You will write production code, focus on reliability and cost, and work AI-native across the SDLC on a greenfield Dublin hub. You will collaborate with senior engineers, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to shaping the engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Production-grade engineering experience in a major tech environment.
• Solid understanding of Unix/Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on exposure to at least one infrastructure domain (cloud, compute, storage, security or data infra).
• Experience with infrastructure-level systems and tooling (Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, databases).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate features within enterprise-scale infrastructure platforms.
• Write and review production code with focus on reliability, performance, security and cost.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues with senior engineers.
• Work AI-native across the SDLC with AI-assisted development and tooling.
• Participate in on-call rotation and improve operability and observability.
• Analyze and improve code and systems for quality, scalability and performance.
• Decompose problems into executable work for yourself and AI agents.
• Define success metrics and measure impact.
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders on technical decisions.
