Job summary

Linesight is seeking an Associate Director to lead client-side commercial and cost management across major infrastructure programmes. You will manage strategic client relationships, provide contract and commercial leadership on GCCC/NEC projects, and drive opportunities for repeat business while developing our teams and market presence.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered member of the SCSI, RICS or equivalent professional body.
• Experience of 10–15 years in quantity surveying, commercial management or cost management.
• Experience delivering major infrastructure projects and programmes.
• Experience leading commercial management teams on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience providing client-side commercial and cost management services.
• Strong expertise in GCCC and NEC contract administration and commercial management.
• Experience advising clients on commercial strategy, procurement, forecasting and commercial risk.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for key infrastructure clients.
• Develop and maintain trusted long-term client relationships.
• Provide strategic commercial, procurement and contract advice.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business and account growth.
• Lead the provision of commercial management and cost management services across major infrastructure projects and programmes.
• Oversee cost planning, estimating, procurement and commercial management services.
• Review and assure key commercial deliverables.
• Lead commercial risk identification and mitigation activities.
• Monitor financial performance and profitability across commissions.
