Stryker Group in Cork is offering a placement based at one of our Cork sites. You will join the 2027 Cooperative cohort and work on IT/software improvement projects with data analysis and reporting across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities include identifying objectives and milestones, supporting data extraction, and drafting internal correspondences while performing clerical duties. Duration options are 6, 9 or 12 months.
This role will be based in one of our Cork sites.
Throughout the placement, you will be an integral part of Stryker’s 2027 Cooperative cohort.
Tasks and responsibilities may include:
Together, with your Stryker team leader and college supervisor, identify an IT/Software improvement project along with project objectives, scope, success factors, milestones and evaluation
Support and assist the in-depth data analysis of various data sets and reports
Perform duties in support of the design, data extraction, research and reporting in areas of performance, outcomes and compliance with policies and rules
Provide support with project meetings to ensure data accuracy and documentation
Create and analyze process workflows to increase efficiency with cross-functional divisions and departments including the analysis of data trends and report and file creation
Draft internal correspondences and perform general and clerical duties as assigned
Currently completing an Irish or Northern Irish university qualification in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics or other related courses

Self-motivated, flexible, and hardworking - enjoys working in a dynamic, fast and results orientated environment
Reliable, dependable, and punctual
Organised, focused, and capable of multi-tasking
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills with basic level of PC skills
Is a team player and capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team
