Job summary

Stryker is offering a 6-, 9-, or 12-month cooperative placement based in Cork, Ireland. You will work with your team leader to identify an IT/software improvement project, support data analysis, and assist with reporting and documentation.

You will gain exposure to performance, outcomes and compliance areas, supported by mentors and leaders who foster your growth in a dynamic healthcare tech environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Irish or Northern Irish university program in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics or related courses.
• Honesty and integrity; must comply with quality system, regulations and policies.
• Self-motivated, flexible and hardworking in a dynamic environment.
• Reliable, dependable and punctual.
• Organised, focused and capable of multi-tasking.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with basic PC skills.
• Is a team player in a multi-disciplined team.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist in-depth data analysis of various data sets and reports.
• Assist in design, data extraction, research and reporting on performance, outcomes and compliance.
• Participate in project meetings to ensure data accuracy and documentation.
• Create and analyze workflows to increase efficiency with cross-functional divisions, including data trend analysis and report/file creation.
• Draft internal correspondences and perform general clerical duties.

This role will be based in one of our Cork sites.

Throughout the placement, you will be an integral part of Stryker’s 2027 Cooperative cohort.

Tasks and responsibilities may include:

• Together, with your Stryker team leader and college supervisor, identify an IT/Software improvement project along with project objectives, scope, success factors, milestones and evaluation

• Support and assist the in-depth data analysis of various data sets and reports

• Perform duties in support of the design, data extraction, research and reporting in areas of performance, outcomes and compliance with policies and rules

• Provide support with project meetings to ensure data accuracy and documentation

• Create and analyze process workflows to increase efficiency with cross-functional divisions and departments including the analysis of data trends and report and file creation

• Draft internal correspondences and perform general and clerical duties as assigned

What you will need:

• Currently completing an Irish or Northern Irish university qualification in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics or other related courses

• Honesty and integrity; must comply with the quality system, regulations, and company policies

• Self-motivated, flexible, and hardworking - enjoys working in a dynamic, fast and results orientated environment

• Reliable, dependable, and punctual
