Job summary

Stryker in Cork, Ireland, invites applications for a placement within our 2027 Cooperative cohort. You will work closely with your team leader and a college supervisor to identify an IT/software improvement project, define milestones, and drive data analysis across multiple datasets and reports.

You will support design, data extraction, research and reporting on performance, outcomes and policy compliance, and contribute to cross-functional workflow optimizations.

Qualifications

• Currently completing an Irish or Northern Irish university qualification in Information Technology (IT), Business Information Systems (BIS), Computer Science, Data Analytics or related

• Support and assist in-depth data analysis of datasets and reports
• Assist design, data extraction, research and reporting in performance, outcomes and policy compliance
• Provide support with project meetings to ensure data accuracy and documentation
• Create and analyze process workflows to increase cross-functional efficiency and report/file creation
• Draft internal correspondences and perform general clerical duties

Job description

This role will be based in one of our Cork sites.

Throughout the placement, you will be an integral part of Stryker's 2027 Cooperative cohort.

Tasks and responsibilities may include:

• Together, with your Stryker team leader and college supervisor, identify an IT/Software improvement project along with project objectives, scope, success factors, milestones and evaluation
• Support and assist the in-depth data analysis of various data sets and reports
• Perform duties in support of the design, data extraction, research and reporting in areas of performance, outcomes and compliance with policies and rules
• Provide support with project meetings to ensure data accuracy and documentation
• Create and analyze process workflows to increase efficiency with cross-functional divisions and departments including the analysis of data trends and report and file creation
• Draft internal correspondences and perform general and clerical duties as assigned

What you will need:

• Currently completing an Irish or Northern Irish university qualification in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics or other related courses
