Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9, is seeking CNM2/CNS Infection Prevention and Control to lead prevention and control efforts across the hospital. The post reports to ADON IPC and collaborates with consultant clinical microbiologists to maintain high IPC standards.

The successful candidate will oversee surveillance, education, audits, and reports, driving quality improvement and clinical leadership in infection prevention throughout the hospital.

Qualifications

• Be registered in the relevant division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• A minimum of 2 years post registration experience.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, surveillance, and control of hospital-acquired infections.
• Investigate infection outbreaks and report to committees.
• Advise on isolation procedures and infection prevention strategies.
• Lead education, audits, and data collection to improve IPC standards.
• Provide evidence-based nursing care within NMBI guidelines.
