Climeaction is an award‑winning climate action company headquartered in Cork, with offices in Boston and staring operations in Brazil. We work at the sharpest end of industrial decarbonization - helping Ireland's largest manufacturers cut energy costs, reduce Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, and future‑proof their operations. As our Large Industrial practice grows, we are looking for an experienced engineer who wants to lead from the front, not the back office.

What You'll Do

• Lead energy and carbon audits across large industrial manufacturing sites, including detailed reviews of utility systems, manufacturing processes, and energy‑efficient design.
• Own and drive Energy Carbon Management programmes from both a technical and programme management perspective, delivering measurable cost, energy and carbon savings.
• Conduct Measurement Verification exercises to IPMVP standards and develop statistical models to identify and quantify reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Climeaction consulting team on full supply chain decarbonization — including Scope 3 — for complex industrial clients.
• Work directly with company directors to shape new services and products. This is a role with genuine input into where the business goes next.

What We're Looking For

• Level 8 degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years in industrial energy consulting or a comparable senior industry role.
• Hands‑on experience with industrial energy auditing and Energy Management programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver client projects on time and on budget.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Full, clean driving licence.

Preferred But Not Essential

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Auditor (CEA).
• Lean Green Belt or equivalent continuous improvement qualification.
• Own vehicle.
