Job summary

Ballyvourney Foods Ltd. in Ireland seeks an Industrial Cook to join the production team. You will cook according to established recipes in a HACCP-controlled facility and work on large-scale equipment to produce high-quality preserves, relishes, chutneys, and sauces.

Full training will be provided; the role requires conversational English and adherence to food hygiene standards, with day shifts 4:00am–1:00pm or 1:00pm–8:00pm, Monday to Thursday.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparation and cooking of fresh foods preferred.
• Must follow recipes and specifications.
• Full training provided.
• Conversational English required.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh foods in a HACCP-controlled factory using large-scale equipment.
• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications; use IT systems as required.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean workstation and adhere to safety standards.
• Assist with cleaning and organization of the factory and equipment.
• Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards.

We are a multi-award-winning, family-owned and operated producer of high-quality preserves, relish, chutney and sauces based in Ballyvourney, Co. Cork. With a diverse portfolio of products and customers, we are now looking to hire an Industrial Cook to join our production team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cooking fresh food in a HACCP-controlled food factory using large-scale equipment.
• Working to established recipes and agreed specifications.
• Previous experience in the preparation and cooking of fresh foods is an advantage.
• Full training will be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Rate: Starting at €16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift (4:00am to 1:00pm and 1:00pm to 8:00pm)
• Monday to Thursday
