Job summary

Barden is delighted to partner with a client in Cork to hire a Senior Indirect Tax Accountant. You will own VAT, Intrastat and EC Sales compliance across multiple jurisdictions and help modernise the function.

You will collaborate with global finance teams, identify risks, and drive process improvements with automation to optimise indirect tax processes. This role is based in Cork on a permanent basis.

Qualifications

• Tax and/or accounting qualification preferred.
• Experience managing indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Multinational, shared service, or pharma background is an advantage.
• SAP and strong Excel skills, with comfort using AI tools.
• Curious, proactive, and confident working across teams.

You will join a global finance team, own VAT, Intrastat, and EC Sales compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and help shape how the function works as it modernises.
