Job summary

Galway Simon Community seeks a Support Assistant for Prevention Service in Galway. 3-year fixed-term, full-time, 37 hours weekly within a 4-week roster. Salary scale €35,434–€44,539, on the HSE Health Care Assistant scale.

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 5 Major Award in Health Service Skills (5M3782) or Healthcare Support (5M4339).
• 1 year relevant experience in a similar role in a care setting.
• Valid, full driving licence; access to own vehicle and ability to obtain insurance for business use.
• Available to work every other weekend as part of the roster.
