Job summary

Intercept Technologies Ltd in Dublin seeks an in-house solicitor or barrister at 0–3 years PQE to build and lead the company’s legal function. You will draft and negotiate commercial contracts, support public procurement, and ensure GDPR and regulatory readiness across cybersecurity, fintech, and aerospace contexts.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or barrister in Ireland, newly qualified up to ~2–3 years PQE, or due to qualify imminently.
• Solid grounding in commercial contract law, strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Ability to translate legal risk into practical commercial advice in a lean, fast-moving environment.
• Desirable: exposure to technology, data protection, or public procurement law; interest in cybersecurity/fintech/regulatory landscape (GDPR, NIS2, DORA).
• Experience in technology, financial services, or public sector organisations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including MSAs, SLAs, SOWs, NDAs, licensing agreements, and supplier/reseller arrangements.
• Support public procurement activity, review tender documentation, advise on framework agreements and contract conditions, flag risks.
• Advise on data protection and privacy compliance under GDPR and Irish Data Protection Act 2018, including DPAs and breach response.
• Map regulatory readiness for GDPR, NIS2, DORA, and sector-specific obligations to business operations.
• Provide employment law guidance; support corporate & IP activities; contribute to legal operations and playbooks.
