Job summary

Shannon Legal in Dublin 2 is seeking a Junior Lawyer to transition in-house on a 12 month contract. The role is hybrid with 3 days in the office, reporting to the Head of Legal, and focuses on commercial and residential property matters.

You will provide practical legal advice on property development, negotiate and draft property documents, and assist with development finance security. Ireland-qualified lawyers with 4–7 years' experience are welcomed to apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer in Ireland with 4-7 years of experience in commercial and residential property law.
• Expertise in acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and development transactions.
• Knowledge of construction law and contract review is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical legal advice on property, development, and commercial matters.
• Draft and negotiate property documentation (agreements, leases, licences, etc.).
• Support negotiation of construction and development documents (building contracts, warranties).
• Assist finance team with property-related security documentation for development finance.
• Advise on legal and commercial risks in development projects and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with third-party lawyers.
