Job summary

Lex Consultancy is seeking an experienced real estate and finance lawyer for a 6-9 month FTC on a part-time basis (3 days per week) in our Dublin office.

The role covers live transactions, asset management and strategic projects focused on real estate exits, portfolio realisation, and complex financing and enforcement workstreams. Candidates with proven experience in property disposals, secured lending and disputes are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience advising on complex real estate, financing or commercial matters.
• Experience with property disposals, secured lending, enforcement or restructuring.
• Ability to manage external solicitors and counsel.

Responsibilities

• Leading property acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and development transactions.
• Managing real estate exits and asset sale processes, including due diligence, documentation and completion.
• Advising on property financings, refinancings, security arrangements and lender negotiations.
• Managing enforcement, asset protection, restructuring and recovery strategies.
• Overseeing commercial litigation, settlement discussions and other contentious matters.
• Advising on construction, development and property-related agreements.
• Managing shareholder, investor and joint venture matters connected with the real estate portfolio.
• Instructing and managing external solicitors and counsel, including legal strategy, scope and costs.
• Advising senior management on legal risk, transaction structuring, governance and commercially sensitive matters.
• Overseeing and supporting the internal real estate legal team.

Job description

This position is offered as a 6-9 month FTC on a part-time basis (3 days per week) whereby the successful candidate will be employed directly by a private market investment firm in their Dublin office.

The role will involve responsibility for a varied portfolio of live transactions, asset management matters and strategic projects, with a particular focus on real estate exits, portfolio realisation and the management of complex financing and enforcement workstreams. Experience advising on complex real estate, financing or commercial matters, experience of property disposals, secured lending, enforcement, restructuring or commercial disputes would be advantageous.
Key responsibilities will include:
