Job summary

Gaia Talent is seeking an experienced Arborist to join its biodiversity and sustainability consultancy team in Ireland. This new in-house capability will complement the existing ecology offering and deliver robust arboricultural surveys and reports to a high professional standard.

The role requires at least five years of practical arboricultural fieldwork, strong survey and report-writing skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with ecologists on multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ professional arboricultural experience.
• Proven ability to produce clear, high-quality technical reports.
• Sound judgement and capable of working independently on arboricultural assignments.
• Strong communication and client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Undertake arboricultural field surveys and assessments for diverse projects.
• Prepare high-quality arboricultural reports and practical recommendations.
• Provide arboricultural input throughout planning and delivery, identifying constraints and opportunities.
• Collaborate with ecologists and other environmental professionals on multidisciplinary projects.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders, communicating findings clearly.
