Ifac invites graduates to join its Trainee Accountant Programme across Ireland, with Kilkenny Head Office onboarding in July 2027, offering hands-on experience and professional qualification support in a Top Ten firm.

You will work with experienced accountants, tax advisors, and auditors, gaining direct client exposure in a dynamic environment while pursuing accounting qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

the ifac Graduate Programme

What can you expect on the Programme? You will begin your journey with ifac with an extensive onboarding programme at our Kilkenny Head Office in July 2027. From day one, you will receive excellent training and support from a diverse team of experts while you learn how to prepare and review accounts and tax computations, provide client support, and help business owners manage risk and maximise opportunities. Working across a range of industries with a focus on the food and agribusiness sectors, you will be involved in full accounting, tax and consulting assignments, including planning meetings, and client visits.

This is a full-time Trainee contract, typically offered on a fixed-term basis for 3.5 years

You Will Be

• A graduate with a third-level qualification in accountancy, finance, or a business-related discipline and have:
• A passion for helping business owners solve problems and maximise opportunities.
• Strong organisational skills and be attention to detail orientated.
• A commitment to exceptional customer service and building strong client relationships.
• A willingness to learn and grow professionally with a commitment to completing a professional qualification.
• Experience in using Microsoft Office.
