Job summary

Okta is seeking an elite, hands‑on Identity Architect to drive platform execution inside our own cloud. You will deploy Alpha to EA features in Okta’s internal IAM tenant and shape how the platform is used at customer scale.

You will own architecture for AI Agent security, token exchange, and platform APIs, collaborating with product teams and top customer engineers to influence real‑world deployments. Equity, bonus, and comprehensive benefits are offered in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Okta experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Mastery of Okta Identity Engine, Directory Integrations, Workflows, and Platform APIs.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, mTLS, JWT and MCP.
• Excellent ability to translate complex platform configs for peers.
• Nice to have Okta Certified Administrator or Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead hands-on architect for Alpha to EA deployments in Okta's own IAM tenant.
• Lead the architecture of AI Agent security, token exchange, and authorization for AI workloads.
• Collaborate with customer practitioners and share deployment lessons learned with engineers.
• Contribute to playbooks, videos, and workshops for real-world deployment scenarios.
