Job summary

Softworks Ltd. is seeking a Prompt Engineer in Bray, Ireland, to drive AI-enabled workforce management solutions. You will prototype and productionize AI features, optimizing prompts for reliability and performance across foundation models and local open-source options.

You will collaborate with leadership and the AI team to translate business requirements into actionable software, while maintaining security, governance, and testing standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Data Science, AI, Math or related field.
• Proven experience rapidly building and iterating AI/LLM POCs.
• Strong programming in Python and .NET; end-to-end prototyping across stacks.

Responsibilities

• Rapid Prototyping & POC Development: build/iterate POCs from idea to production to validate new AI features.
• Advanced Prompt Engineering: design/test/optimize complex prompts across models.
• AI Research & Technology Evaluation: research latest AI models and evaluate tech to accelerate projects.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Alignment: work with AI Team Lead, Development, and other departments to translate requirements.
