Job summary

SMBC Group is seeking a skilled Full Stack .NET Developer to join its Development team in Tralee. You will work across the full technology stack, delivering scalable business applications and integrations in a global financial services environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with C#/.NET, REST APIs, and Oracle or SQL Server, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline.
• 5+ years of full stack software development experience.
• Strong C#/.NET development and object-oriented programming experience.
• Experience with web applications, RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Strong Oracle and/or SQL Server database experience.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, stored procedures, query optimisation and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support full stack applications using C#/.NET technologies.
• Develop web applications, user interfaces, RESTful APIs, backend services and workflow solutions.
• Design and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views and database objects.
• Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot application, integration and database issues.
• Provide production support, root cause analysis, system maintenance and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, architects and development teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
• Participate in application design, code reviews, testing, deployment and continuous improvement.Produce and maintain technical documentation.
