Job summary

Hibernian Recruitment in Ireland is seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor to join a growing financial planning brokerage launching a new mortgage division across Dublin and Cork. You will manage clients from initial enquiry through to drawdown while helping shape and grow the division.

Reporting to the Head of Mortgages, you will liaise with lenders, underwriters and solicitors, assess affordability, prepare applications and maintain compliant client files.

Qualifications

• Mortgage advisory experience in the Irish market.
• APA Loans as a minimum; QFA is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of lender criteria and compliance requirements.
• Excellent client management and organisational skills.
• A proactive, commercial approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage mortgage applications from fact-find to drawdown.
• Assess affordability, eligibility and suitability.
• Research and recommend suitable mortgage products.
• Prepare and submit applications and supporting documents.
• Liaise with lenders, underwriters, solicitors and estate agents.
• Keep clients informed throughout the process.
• Manage a busy pipeline and maintain compliant client files.
• Identify opportunities for protection and financial planning referrals.
