Job summary

Allianz Ireland is seeking a Financial Accounting & Reporting Manager to oversee IFRS GAAP reporting, quarterly and annual financial statements, and regulatory submissions. The role reports to the Head of Financial Reporting & Tax and leads a finance reporting team within a hybrid Dublin setting.

You will coordinate with Allianz Group and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate reporting and adherence to IFRS/Irish GAAP, while supporting IT-led reporting improvements and capital

Qualifications

• Qualified Professional with experience in a financial regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of IFRS insurance requirements.
• Able to analyse and explain complex accounting questions independently.
• Experience coordinating multiple deadlines with high accuracy.
• Involvement in IT projects and reporting efficiencies.
• Experience in SAP reporting tools (Business Explorer) and Power BI.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proven ability to manage and complete a variety of projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage IFRS GAAP reporting including quarterly and annual reporting.
• Lead the Financial & Accounting Reporting team with direct reports.
• Maintain strong control framework and address control issues.
• Present changes in quarterly results to local committees for sign-off.
• Support Audit Committee, Risk Committee and Board reporting.
• Coordinate IFRS/IFRS17 and Solvency II reporting with Allianz Group.
• Support quarterly and annual regulatory reports (QRTs, NSTs, SFCR, RSR).
• Collaborate with actuarial, investments, risk, and other functions to ensure reporting completeness.
