Job summary

CPL in Ireland is assisting a highly successful, fast-growing specialist provider of engineering and technical services to recruit an experienced Financial Controller who will lead the finance function and set strategic financial direction for the group.

Reporting to the site-based Director of Operations in Limerick, you will own monthly and annual close, maintain robust controls, deliver detailed analysis and budgets, oversee risk and governance, and mentor the finance team in a hybrid role

Qualifications

• 3rd level degree in a relevant discipline.
• Fully qualified accountant (Big 3 training preferred but not essential).
• 6-7+ years experience in a Finance Controller/Finance Manager or similar role.
• Experience supporting international entities is advantageous.
• Experience in growth planning/expansion strategy is advantageous.
• Excellent IT skills with strong MS Office proficiency.
• ERP system experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function and provide strategic financial direction.
• Own monthly and annual close processes with robust controls.
• Deliver detailed financial analysis and performance reports.
• Oversee risk, compliance and audit processes.
• Coordinate budgets and liaise with senior leaders and CFO.
• Mentor the finance team and drive business transformation projects.
