Job summary

The Recruitment Company is seeking a Data Science leader to head a team in Dublin. This senior, hybrid role combines people leadership, technical direction and stakeholder engagement to shape how Data Science and AI are used across the organisation.

You will work with technology and business teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions, drive ML production, and translate business needs into practical data-led outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Data Science leadership or management position.
• Experience across the Data Science lifecycle, including model development, deployment and monitoring.
• Strong background in Python or R, SQL and machine learning; experience with MLOps and production ML.
• Experience applying AI/ML to real-world business challenges and using cloud-based data/analytics technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Data Scientists, supporting growth and building a strong team.
• Shape the organisation’s approach to Data Science, AI and analytics.
• Work with technology and data teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
• Identify opportunities where Data Science and AI can solve business problems and improve outcomes.
• Support introduction of new technologies and approaches to add value.
• Encourage good development practices and reuse of data and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into data-led solutions.
• Promote use of data and analytics across the organisation.
