EY in Ireland is seeking a Senior Manager Data Architect within the Data Analytics and AI team. You will lead diverse projects transforming data into strategic assets, shaping governance, and advising clients on architecture and data strategies.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analysis and strategy.
• At least 2 years of consulting experience providing strategic guidance and hands-on implementation.
• Strong expertise in data modelling, database design, and SQL.
• Extensive knowledge of data integration techniques, ETL, and data warehouse design.
• Experience in data governance frameworks and practices.
• Excellent client-facing skills and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead diverse teams with varying skillsets across Data and Analytics technologies.
• Adapt leadership style to fit team, client, and cultural needs; identify risks and elevate issues.
• Coach and mentor junior team members; share best practices and industry trends.
• Design and implement data artefacts including data modelling, integration, storage and governance.
• Hands-on data modelling to create Enterprise Data Models.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into architecture.
• Assess existing data architectures and recommend remediation plans.
• Develop data migration strategies and oversee execution with minimal disruption.
• Advise clients on data architecture, governance, quality and security.
• Stay current with technologies and trends to drive innovation.
