Job summary

Bio-Techne is seeking a Distribution Centre Team Lead in Ireland. The role combines hands-on distribution duties with daily team leadership, spending roughly 50% on operative tasks and 50% on guiding operators during shifts.

You will support workload coordination, monitor procedures, ensure safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement while upholding Bio-Techne’s standards and environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong hands-on experience in distribution, logistics, or warehouse.
• Ability to guide, support, and influence colleagues without formal authority.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management.
• Strong customer service mindset under pressure.
• Confident IT user with ERP/CRM experience.
• Flexible and proactive workload approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform inbound receipting, outbound picking, packing, dispatch.
• Lead day-to-day team activities, allocating tasks during shifts.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Carry out other duties to support DC operations.
