Job summary

Ocuco Limited is hiring a DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to join our Global Lab Development team. You will support two platforms, Innovations Lab Management System and Lablink online portal, handling CI/CD, environment provisioning and security controls.

You will work with Development, InfoSec and IT, ensuring stable, auditable environments while contributing to cloud migration and ongoing operations. This hybrid Dublin-based role requires three days onsite.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years' experience in a DevOps, infrastructure or similar technical operations role.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Strong Windows Server and Linux administration skills.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, TLS/SSL, firewalls and VPNs.
• Experience with patch management, vulnerability remediation and least-privilege access controls.
• Experience managing relational databases from an operational perspective, including backups, monitoring and failover; SQL Server experience is preferred.
• Experience with Azure services such as App Service, Azure SQL, Key Vault and Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting application and infrastructure environments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Development, InfoSec and IT teams.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and environment provisioning.
• Implement patching, monitoring and access controls across platforms.
• Ensure environments remain stable, secure and auditable.
• Collaborate with Development, InfoSec and IT teams to bridge application and infrastructure.
• Support cloud-based Lab Innovations and Lablink deployments.
• Adapt to evolving security and compliance obligations.
