Job summary

Flogas Ireland is seeking proactive Credit and Collections Agents to join our expanding team. You will work within the credit control function to manage cash collections, respond to customer inquiries, and support credit activities across Domestic and Commercial accounts.

The role requires 1-2 years in a busy credit control environment, a solid grasp of collection processes, and a drive to meet targets. Hybrid work options are available to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a busy credit control environment.
• Strong working knowledge of the collection process and targets.
• Able to work in a team and on own initiative to improve performance.
• Excellent customer service skills with clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage collection of payments from Commercial and Domestic accounts.
• Ensure compliance with the Credit Policy in all activities.
• Make outbound calls to follow up on outstanding payments.
• Meet and exceed cash collections targets and KPIs.
• Refer overdue accounts to debt collection agencies and initiate legal action when needed.
• Work with customers to create payment plans for Domestic and Commercial accounts.
• Maintain oversight of outstanding balances and aged debts.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve account issues promptly.
• Handle communications by email and phone with high service standards.
• Perform administrative tasks and assist with credit control projects as needed.
