Job summary

DBASS in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, is seeking a newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA accountant to join their Corporate Finance and Business Advisory team on a permanent, full-time hybrid role.

You will gain hands-on client experience across valuations, due diligence, modelling, and M&A projects. Working with business owners and senior decision-makers, you will prepare reports, financial analyses and strategic advisory outputs while developing technical expertise through training and collaboration across

Qualifications

• Recently qualified ACA, ACCA or CPA accountant.
• Training completed within an accountancy practice or professional services environment.
• Strong financial accounting and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with business valuations for owner-managed businesses and SMEs.
• Assist with merger and acquisition projects.
• Prepare financial analysis to support investment and transaction decisions.
• Contribute to business plans, funding applications and information memoranda.
• Carry out industry, market and competitor research.
• Prepare financial models and cashflow forecasts.
• Analyse historical financial performance and future projections.
• Review management accounts and financial statements as part of advisory assignments.
• Assist in identifying key commercial and financial risks.
• Participate in client meetings alongside senior team members.
• Prepare reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Support Directors and Managers in delivering high‑quality advisory services.
