Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment's client in South Dublin is seeking a trade-qualified HVAC Maintenance Technician to join an established facilities team on-site. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance of HVAC and building services, ensuring equipment runs safely and reliably.

You'll work within a dedicated engineering group, carry out preventative tasks, troubleshoot faults, and maintain service records, contributing to high standard facilities management in a high-profile corporate environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC and building services systems.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC faults and equipment breakdowns.
• Complete preventative maintenance in line with site schedules.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report defects.
• Work closely with the wider Facilities and Engineering teams.
• Liaise with external contractors where specialist support is required.
• Ensure all works comply with health & safety and site procedures.

About Your New Role

This is a static HVAC Maintenance Technicia position where you will be based on one site in South Dublin. You will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of HVAC and building services systems on-site, ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently and reliably.

You will work as part of an established facilities and engineering team, carrying out preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC and building services systems.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC faults and equipment breakdowns.
• Complete preventative maintenance in line with site schedules.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report defects.
• Work closely with the wider Facilities and Engineering teams.
• Liaise with external contractors where specialist support is required.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety and site procedures.
• Support wider facilities and building services activities as required.

What You Need

• Trade qualification in HVAC or Refrigeration along with F Gas
• Previous experience in HVAC maintenance, facilities management or building services.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and associated building services.
• Experience in both planned and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
