Job summary

Elk Recruitment is seeking a Static HVAC Technician to join our client’s team on two Dublin sites (Dublin 3 and Dublin 13). This permanent, full-time role services and maintains HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings, emphasising reliability, safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates hold an Irish Trade Qualification in HVAC Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical, with strong knowledge of HVAC components; a Refrigerant Handling (F-Gas) certificate is highly beneficial.

Qualifications

• Irish Trade Qualification in HVAC Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical is required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain air conditioning units, heat pumps, VRV/VRF systems, FCUs, chillers in commercial and industrial settings.
• Diagnose faults in HVAC and refrigeration systems using testing tools and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand needs and advise on upgrades or repairs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent.

Your new role includes

• Servicing and maintaining air conditioning units, heat pumps, VRV/VRF systems, Fan Coil Unites, Chillers and other equipment in commercial, and industrial settings.
• Diagnosing faults and issues in HVAC and refrigeration systems using appropriate testing tools and equipment.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure systems operate efficiently and comply with environmental and safety regulations.
• Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations on system upgrades or repairs.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety policies, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent on each job.

Experience you need
