Job summary

Munters is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead large, milestone-driven HVAC projects from design through on-site delivery. You will liaise with clients, coordinate internal teams, and ensure all documentation and QA/QC are rigorously maintained.

The role requires at least 3 years in a similar position, strong HVAC expertise, and fluent written and spoken English. Travel to sites will be required as part of project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC for mission critical environments.
• Qualification in project management and / or HVAC; Health & Safety SSSTS / SMSTS.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

• Serve as the primary contact during design, manufacture and site delivery phases.
• Manage day-to-day aspects of all assigned projects and client interactions.
• Develop and execute project plans aligned with company and client requirements.
• Prepare and maintain PM records and documentation for each project.
• Coordinate QAQC and notification of project changes and variations.
• Track milestones, deadlines and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure projects are delivered on budget and according to specifications.
• Provide weekly/monthly progress and commercial reports to senior management.

In your role as Project Manager your main job duties will be:

• Serve as the primary contact during the design, manufacture, and site delivery phases of large assigned projects.
• Manage day-to-day aspects of all assigned projects
• Manage day-to-day client interactions
• Develop and execute project plans ensuring alignment with both company and client requirements.
• Prepare and maintain PM records and documentation for each project
• Support the design team and the document controller in compilation and submission of project technical documentation including but not limited to technical submittals.
• Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
• Ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with approved specifications and contract terms and conditions.
• Manage site technical teams to coordinate our presence and activities on site throughout the project.
• Produce and manage all health and safety documentation for project site activities.
• Deliver all post production equipment documentation including but not limited to as built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, spare parts lists etc.
• Assist in liaison between project stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners.
• Leads the team in the organisation of factory testing for client related tests.
• Effectively manage change orders and variations throughout the project.
• Ensure project procedures are in accordance with the approved customer specifications.
• Manage QAQC activities on site to ensure that products and workmanship are delivered to the highest standards.
• Liaise with QAQC teams in the factory to ensure QAQC related business is dealt with efficiently and factory teams are informed to prevent reoccurrence of any quality issues.
• Attendance in meetings (in person and remotely) as required with client and other 3rd parties to coordinate projects.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports on project progress and commercials to the senior management team.
• Travel to sites as required.
• Resolve / escape project issues in a timely fashion
• Communicate difficult / sensitive information tactfully.
• Provide timely responses to all project support requests
• Assist finance, when necessary, regarding commercial issues.

• Understands revenue models, P&L and cost to completion projections.
• Leads the team in the organisation of factory testing for client related tests.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellent customer service.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by handling enquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring timely service.
• Required IT Skills:Expert level ability in Office 365 applications and project management tools such as Procore, BIM360 etc.
• Most relevant previous work experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a similar role.Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems serving mission critical environments.
• Most relevant qualifications, education, and training: Qualification in project management and / or HVAC. Health & Safety SSSTS / SMSTS
