Job summary

Arcadis on-site in Kinsale, Ireland seeks an HVAC Engineer to join a multidisciplinary project team. Pharma/Biotech HVAC design and construction support experience is essential.

You will work with process and electrical disciplines to develop robust building services for pharma facilities, ensuring compliance and performance. This role emphasizes coordination, deliverables, and safety on site across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10+ years’ experience in HVAC/Mechanical design and construction environments.
• A BE degree in Engineering is preferred.
• Good communications and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and Building Services for Pharma/Biotech projects as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Prepare HVAC deliverables including AF&ID’s, HVAC design calculations, chillers design, assisting BMS design and utility systems design.
• Generate detailed scope of work packages for HVAC contractors for tender / procurement process.
• Coordinate and supervise HVAC contractor(s) during construction and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate contractor activities to monitor and track work ensuring delivery of the schedule and budget.
• The Specification and procurement of AHU’s, etc.
• Provide technical support to the project team and clients.
• Participate in Constructability and Safety reviews.
• Review project scope, budget and schedule.
• Ability to manage workload of multiple projects of varying complexity.
• All aspects of Health & Safety on site related to project role.
• Programming works schedule and monitoring progress, compliance with regulations and costs.
